Dr. Marjorie Hower was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1995.

Hower left her mark at Baldwin-Wallace during her thirty-three-year coaching career. Hower influenced many young women at B-W while serving as the women's athletic director, coach and advisor to the Women's Recreation Association.

A professor emeritus of health and physical education, Hower graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1940 and earned her master's from Western Reserve University in 1950. Hower graduated in 1964 with her doctorate in Education from the University of Oregon. At Ohio Wesleyan, Hower was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, the Y.W.C.A. and the Women's Athletic Association. In later years, Hower was elected to the Ohio Wesleyan University Athletic All of Fame.

She has taught at B-W and in Strongsville and at Washington-Clay High School in Indiana. Hower lived in Columbia Station.
