Frank Larimer '40 was a 1940 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace and a letterman in track and football. He was elected to the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1989.

Larimer, a 1933 graduate of Sandusky High School, was a member of the golf and track teams.

A sociology major, Larimer lettered in track and football for the Yellow Jackets. As a standout track athlete, Larimer at one time held school records in the 120 yard high and 220 low hurdles. His best time in the high hurdles was 15.0 seconds and 24.3 seconds in the low hurdles. The records would later be broken by 1948 and 1952 Olympic Gold Medalist, Harrison Dillard '49. Larimer was an Ohio Athletic Conference Champion in the high hurdles. Larimer played on B-W's championship football team in 1938.

After graduation, Larimer went to work for Philco-Electronics, working on World War II defense equipment. One of his projects was working on the IDF (Identity Friend or Foe) Radar system. Larimer, since the end of World War II, has spent 40 years in the glass industry, and started his own glass company in 1971 called Glass-Tech. Since selling Glass-Tech, Larimer went in to retirement.

Larimer and his wife Hazel, lived in Perrysburg, OH and Sun City West, AZ. They have two children, Dr. Jack A. Larimer and Susan Goliver.
