D. Ray Slaybaugh '68 graduated from BW in 1968 and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1993.

Slaybaugh has distinguished himself as a wrestling standout at Baldwin-Wallace College.  He was part of a wrestling dynasty under coach John Summa.

Individually, Slaybaugh was a four-year letterman and starter.  He won the 1968 Ohio Athletic Conference title at 123 pounds when he had an undefeated season and was named as the Yellow Jackets Most Valuable Wrestler.  In addition, Slaybaugh twice finished as an OAC championship runnerup, including 1966 when the Yellow Jackets won the OAC title and Slaybaugh had a 33-3-3 mark.  He ended his Yellow Jacket career as one of the all-time leaders in victories, and currently stands seventh on that list.

Slaybaugh also was involved in his fraternity on campus. He was the Lambda Chi Alpha Rush Chairman twice, and he served the college as an orientation leader.

Professionally, Slaybaugh had a very successful career in Real Estate. A member of many national real estate honoraries, Slaybaugh also won numerous local, state and national awards.

Slaybaugh is married to Amy Luntz '70 and they reside in Scottsdale, AZ. They have two children.
