Karen Ward Rolland '68 graduated from Baldwin-Wallace in 1968 and was elected in to the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1997.

Karen Ward Rolland had a successful and varied athletic career while a Baldwin-Wallace undergraduate. She played two years of field hockey, and varsity basketball for three years. During her junior and senior year, she played varsity volleyball and was captain of the team during her senior year. In intramurals, she was badminton doubles champion in 1965 and 1966 and the runner up for badminton singles, and was the soccer kick champion in 1967 "Siglymipcs." She was also a member of Alpha Gamma Delta.

After graduating from Baldwin-Wallace, Rolland taught health and physical education at Mayfield Junior High School for two years than taught at Talawanda High School for one year. Since 1985 she has been the president of Rolland Woodworking Inc. in Berea, a family business she began with her husband Ross Rolland.
