Jill Smith '97 was a standout out student-athlete, competing in both basketball and volleyball as an undergraduate. She still holds a number of BW women's basketball records including most career points (1,610), most free throws made (348) and attempted (424). In addition, she holds four of 10 of the top seasonal scoring percentages in BW history. Among her honors were three-time All-OAC First Team and All-OAC All-Academic First Team. She was a First-Team District GTE Academic All-American for two years. She also was an honorable mention Division III All American and an Academic All-OAC selection in volleyball.

Regularly on the Dean's List, Jill carried a 3.9 grade point average and was inducted into several academic honoraries.
 
In addition, Jill worked in BW's office of Financial Aid for more than two years.
