Sara Gombash Lampe was an 18-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer, a 13-time OAC Champion, seven-time OAC Individual Champion, a four-year letterwinner, a three-time Academic All-OAC, and a College Sports Information Directors of America (COSIDA) Academic All-American swimmer.  The Perrysburg, Ohio native is the BW record-holder in the 200-yard butterfly and the BW Natatorium record-holder in the 100-meter butterfly.  Gombash Lampe also ranks fourth all-time in school history in the 100-yard butterfly.  Out of the pool, Gombash Lampe graduated Cum Laude, was a Dean's List student, and a member of Psi Chi National Honors Society in Psychology, Nu Rho Psi National Honors Society in Neuroscience, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Society and was a Presidential Award Scholarship Award winner.  After BW, she went on to earn a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati. Today, Gombash Lampe is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at The Ohio State University.
