William Linder '94 left his mark at BW in both football and track.

In football he was a four-year letterman and a three-year starter. In recognition for his excellence on the playing field, he received the Ohio Athletic Conference Lee Tressel Award as the top defensive back. He also was named honorable mention All-American by the Champion USA All-American Selection Committee and NCAA Division III National Defensive Player of the Week by the Football Gazette.

Linder
also was a standout in indoor and outdoor track. Again, he was a four year letterman and a two-time OAC Sprint Champion in the 55-meter dash, qualifying for the Division III Championships. He received the Paul "Sparky" Adams Scholarship and the Kenneth F. Steingass Award as the Most Outstanding Senior Male Athlete. A business and finance major, he was a Dean's List student and a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

He went on to become the president of the 4 Seasons Insulation Co.
