A native of Southbury, Connecticut, Linda graduated from BW in 1966.  She started her post college career working with developmentally disabled children as a social worker before transitioning careers entirely to the Cuyahoga County Library System where she worked as a Reference Librarian for over 18 years.  During that time, she also became the mother of her two sons Geoffrey and Jeremy.

Linda returned to her alma mater in 1988 to serve BW in the role of Hall Director, where she leveraged here innate mothering skills to become a friend, confidante, advisor and, sometimes, harsh truth teller to the many generations of students who passed through Findley Hall During her time.

Linda’s strong organizational skills and ability to motivate people led her to be a key contributor to the founding of a student organization called “Mere Images”, Mere Images was a dramatic performance group that highlighted student’s issues and the paths to resolving them, which performed at schools and conferences throughout the higher education space.

Linda was also instrumental in coordinating the reintroduction to the BW Marching Band.  She was a key organizer of the effort to bring a student marching band back to BW.  A group which can be heard on the fields of BW to this day.

In 1995, Linda was promoted to Northwest Area Coordinator and brought her unique blend of caring, cooking and lovingly stern correction to what is now the Davidson Commons.

In 2012, Linda accepted the role of the Athletic Archivist, where she worked to preserve BW’s athletic history.  She responded to numerous requests from alumni and their families to have copies of memories from their time at BW to relive past glories and ensure that the collections were not only organized well, but were displayed with care so that alumni and visitors could appreciate our history and legacy.
