Kim Stuart Kaminski '90 is one of the finest female student-athletes to ever grace Baldwin Wallace University.

Kim competed for four years on the basketball court, on Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center and on the track at The George Finnie Stadium. In basketball, she played center and is among the all-time keading scorers and rebounders in school history. In track, Kim ran the 400 meters and on the 4x200 and 4x400-meter relays and was best known for being an Ohio Athletic Conference champion in the high jump.

On the basketball court, Kim still ranks fifth all-time in scoring with 1,210 career points and first all-time with 881 career rebounds. She was a four-year starter who twice earned All-OAC honors and was a three-time Academic All-OAC choice. Kim additionally was named twice as a CoSIDA Academic All-District iV selection and advanced to the National CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. She had a career-high of 37 points scored and a BW school-record of 25 rebounds. Kim earned all-tournament honors four times during her career and was a four-time OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

On the track, Kim eaned All-OAC accolades in the 400 meters individually and three times in the high jump, including one title. She also earned All-OAC accolades in the 4x200 and 4x400-meter relays, including being a member of a past BW school-record 4x200 relay quartet.

In the classroom, Kim graduated with an education degree and had a better than 3.5 grade average. She was a Dean's :ist student, member of the Alpha Lambda, Omicron Delta Kappa and Dayton C. Miller honor societies, a member of the Student Senate, Campus Judicial Council and served as a student assistant in the sports infoprmation office.

Today, Kim teaches at Strongsville High School and is married to 1991 BW graduate and Hall of Famer Kenn Kaminski. The couple live in Medina and have three boys, including son Michael '19 who plays basketball for the Yellow Jackets.
