Michelle Lehnhardt Hartley '98 competed in both track & field and cross country and helped to lead the Yellow Jackets to 11 Ohio Athletic Conference titles, including all four years in both cross country and indoor track.   

Individually, Lehnhadt Hartley was one of the most versatile track & field student-athletes in college history. She excelled in the 400-meter dash, middle distance races and high jump. She earned NCAA Division III All-America accolades in both the high jump and as a member of the 1,600-meter relay team. She also competed at the NCAA meet in the 800-meter run. Her best finish at the NCAA meet was a fourth-place showing in the high jump in 1996. She also placed 10th in 1997. Lehnhardt Hartley was a multi All-OAC and All-Ohio competitor.
       
In addition to her exploits on the track, Lehnhardt Hartley was an outstanding student and a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society.
