George created a name for himself in Baldwin-Wallace baseball history during his years with the team. He was a starter all four years and a captain his senior year. He received many awards including the Outstanding Freshman Award in 1974 and the Outstanding Player Award in 1977. He held many B-W records, including most strikeouts in a season, most triples in a season, career triples, career innings played and career strikeouts. He also led the team in homeruns and RBIs in 1976. In 1975 he was fourth in the NCAA Division III for strikeouts per game. However, his athletic talents were not in baseball alone.

As a member of the B-W football team. Pat held a school record for an 87-yard touchdown pass in 1975. He lettered in football twice, and was the Offensive Player of the Week two out of the three weeks before he ended the season early with an injury in 1976.

After graduation, he was the football coach at northeastern High School, then assistant coach for football and basketball at B-W. He then moved to an assistant football coaching position at Kent State. He earned a master's degree from B-W in 1981. Currently he is the regional account director at Hoescht Marion Roussel.

He is a member of Alpha Tau Omega, the Knights of Columbus and is active as a coach in youth sports.

Pat lives in Solon with his wife Ann and their two children Patrick, and Elizabeth.
