Kenny Preseren was an outstanding quarterback and shortstop for the Baldwin Wallace College football and baseball teams and was inducted into the BW Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1991.

As a sophomore, Kenny was All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection as a punter. He additionally was named All-OAC at quarterback following is senior season. Kenny was named the BW Ray E. Watts Most Valuable Offensive Back and the Cleveland Touchdown Club Top Local College Player in Greater Clevelad in 1975. As a quarterback, Preseren was ranked fourth in the nation in total offense and fifth in total points scored.

In baseball, Kenny was the starting shortstop for the Yellow Jackets for three years. As a junior, he was named the team's Most Valuable Player. As a senior, Kenny was a team captain and earned All-OAC honors. He ended his collegiate career with a .353 batting average.

In addition to playing football and baseball, Preseren was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

After graduation, Preseren was drafted by the Cleveland Indians and played minor league baseball for one and a half years. Kenny's younger brother, Joe Preseren '80, also attended BW and played baseball.
