Glenda Nix '80 graduated from BW in 1980 and was inducted to the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1998.

Nix was know at Baldwin Wallace for her excellance in track and field. She set a school record for the 100-meter dash (11.85 seconds) which still stands today. While competing for the Yellow Jackets at Kenyon College, She also set a field house record for the fifty-meter dash. For her accomplishments, she received a Four Year Track Award and the Senior Track Award. Nix also was named an Outstanding Senior by the Black Student Association. 

She received a Master in Education degree from Xavier University in 1991. Since then she has taught at several schools in the Cincinnati area. Currently she is teaching social studies at Woodward High School in Cincinnati. 

An active member of her church, Nix is the vice president of the President's Council for the Pilgrim Baptist Church and the chairperson of greeters.
