Joe Dallas '93 was an outstanding baseball player for the Yellow Jackets, compiling a number of records which still stand today. He holds the school-record for hits in a season (64) and the highest career batting average (.402). He was named a first-team, All-Ohio Athletic Conference designated hitter and a second-team, All-Mideast Region catcher. In 1991, Joe earned the "Big Stick" award for hitting and in 1992, the "Gold Glove" award for defense.  He also played with the BW Racquetball Club.

Following graduation, Dallas focused on a career in teaching and coaching. He first coached basketball at Westlake High School, then became the baseball coach at Elyria Catholic High School where he worked from 1998 to 2001. In 2000, he was named 'Coach of the Year' for Lorain County.  Since 2002, he has taught and coached basketball and golf for the Cleveland Schools. He earned a Master of Education degree from Cambridge College.
