Warren Hamula '50 graduated from BW in 1950 and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1991.

Hamula was an outstanding basketball and baseball player. He was B-W's first All-American basketball player. He additionally was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

In basketball, Hamula was a starter for four years and average better than 19 points per game as  senior. During the NAIB national tournament in Kansas City, Hamula scored 35 points and was selected to an All-America team that played the Harlem Globetrotters.

On the baseball diamond, Hamula played two years and had a career batting average of .385. He hammered six home runs each year.

Following graduation, Hamula was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies baseball organization but decided on dental school instead. Today, Hamula is a nationally-renown orthodonist who lectures and designs dental offices throughout the world.

Hamula and his wife Marcia have two daughters, Sharon and Gail, and a son, David. They reside in Colorado Springs.
