Debbie Crider '98 graduated from Baldwin Wallace in 1986 and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1998. She is one of the best all-around women's basketball student-athletes to ever grace the court in the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium and small college basketball in the State of Ohio in the early 1980's.

As an undergraduate, Debbie was a three time All-OAIAW (Ohio Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women) and Academic All-OAIAW selection. She ranks among the all-time Yellow Jacket leaders in numerous statistical catagories. She ranks second all-time with 1,379 career points scored and first in career points-per-game with 16.22 ppg., fifth in career rebounds with 737 and second in career rebounds-per-game with 8.67 rpg., sixth in career assists with 315 and third in career assists-per-game with 3.71 apg. and first with 309 career steals and first in career steals-per-game with 3.63 spg.

An education major and a magna cum laude scholar, Crider was a recipient of the Myrta Stover Award, and was named a Clyde Lamb Scholar.  She also was a Dean's List student and a member of the Dayton C. Miller Society.

Following graduation from BW, Crider earned her master's degree in elementary education with a reading endorsement at Ashland University. She currently is an elementary teacher in the Brunswick School District.

Crider lives in Brunswick and has three grown sons, Matthew, Daniel, and Luke.
