Shawn McCormick graduated from BW in 2002 and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.

McCormick was one of the most prolific scorers in BW basketball history and earned Division III All-America (NABC), Academic All-America (Verizon) and 2002-2003 OAC Player of the Year honors. He helped to lead BW to two winning and one .500 season. In 103 career games, Shawn currently stands fifth on the all-time scoring list with 1,865 points, grabbed 535 rebounds, passed for 218 assists and made 172 steals. As a senior, he led the OAC in scoring at 20.3 points-per-game. Shawn was named to the d3hoops.com All-Freshman Team, was a four-time All-OAC choice, a three-time All-Great Lakes Region pick, earned OAC Player of the Week honors twice and received numerous all-tournament team accolades.
