Richard "Dick" Senko '67 graduated from BW in 1967 and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1996.

A native of Elmira, New York, Dick earned seven varsity letters during his years at BW, three in football and four in baseball.  His contributions as an outfielder on the BW baseball led him to be named All-Ohio Athletic Conference first-team for three years. Dick also the first BW student-athlete to win the Most Valuable Player Award two years in a row (1965 and 1966). On the football field, Dick was an outstanding running back for Lee Tressel

Following graduation from BW, Dick joined the faculty of the Elmira (N.Y.) Free Academy where he was head football coach for more than 20 years, and taught global studies for 30 years. He retired from teaching and coaching in 2003. Dick also earned his master's degree in education from Elmira (N.Y.) College in 1972.

During his illustrious football coaching career at Elmira Free Academy, Dick compiled an excellent 193-81-2 career record with an outstanding .703 winning percentage and 13 league championships. He is one of the all-time winningest football coaches in New York High School Football. Individually, Dick was named Coach of the Year six times. He also received the"Coach of the Decade" in the Elmira (N.Y.) Metro Area for the 1980s'

Dick and his wife, Eileen, have five grown children.
