Stacy Ehrenbeit Blair was one of BW’s best all-around volleyball and swimming student-athletes in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She also served as a cheerleader for a year. Stacy was named as the Outstanding Senior Female Athlete in 1992.

The four-year letter winner in volleyball was a two-time team captain, a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, including being a first-team choice in 1991, and an OAC Volleyball Player of the Week. She additionally was a “Coaches” Award-winner as a junior and the Yellow Jacket Most Valuable Player as a senior.

The health and physical education major dove on the swimming and diving team for two years. In the classroom, Stacy was an outstanding student and a member of the Dean’s List. She was a member of SHAPE (Student Health Awareness and Peer Education), the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, BW Construction Company and the Junior Panhellinic Board for two years. She additionally performed at the BW Dance Concert for two years, was the “Betty Coed” award-recipient as a freshman. Stacy also participated in intramural basketball, softball and tennis.

In 1993, Stacy married 1990 graduate Kevin Blair and the couple have a son, Bryson, who was born in 2003. Following graduation, Stacy taught health and physical education and coached volleyball in Ohio, Wisconsin and Minnesota before moving to Ireland where she attended the University of Limmerick and coached the Irish Junior National Team. The couple moved back to the United States to Minnesota in 1999 where she began teaching and coaching and Kevin began a career as a restaurateur. The couple moved back to Ohio in 2000 and are now the owner-operators of multiple Claddagh Irish Pubs in Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
