Edward L. Noll '25 graduated from BW in 1925 and was inducted into the Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1970.

An outstanding offensive guard and defensive tackle for the Yellow Jackets from 1921 through 1924, Noll became the first interior lineman elected to the Hall of Fame. 

Noll is an avid follower of Yellow Jacket sports and has done extensive research on the College's athletic records. From his research, he compiled the material for a book which lists B-W's year-by-year records on all sports activities.

He played on B-W teams with Hall of Fame members Ralph Benedict, Paul Lisse, and Rolland Tubbesing during his career.

The former sports editor of the Exponent, Noll was president of Alpha Phi Gamma, journalism honorary, and a vice president of Phi Kappa Phi Fraternity (now Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity).

Following his graduation in 1925, Noll went to work for Nolvex File Compnay, where he became president after seven years. When Nolvex File became Nolvex Company in 1958, he was named a vice president, a position he held until his retirement in 1966. He was honored by being elected to Who's Who in Industry.

Noll was also a thirty-second degree member of the Masons.
