Brian Kosar '89 graduated from BW in 1989 and received his master's degree in 1991. He was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.

Kosar was one of the most consistent left-handed pitchers in Yellow Jacket history.  The 1989 graduate who also earned his master’s degree at the University in 1991 was a first-team All-OAC and Academic All-OAC pick and a NABC Division III All-Mideast Region choice in 1990.  As a senior, Kosar had a spotless 8-0 pitching record with six complete games, a 2.99 earned run average and 53 strikeouts. His eight victories tied the all-time school-record for wins in a season. He ended his career with a 15-9 mark. Off the field, Kosar was a Dean’s List student and scholar-athlete who was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Today, he is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Cleveland Pacific Equity Ventures, LLC.
