Mike Albert '76 was an outstanding football player and wrestler. He had many talents at a young age as he lettered in both sports as a freshman.

In football as a sophomore, Albert was named the Most Valuable Offensive Back. He was also selected twice All-Ohio Athletic Conference first-team at running back.

In wrestling, Albert compiled a record that is yet to be matched or surpassed by anyone at BW. During his freshman and sophomore seasons, he held an unbeaten record at 26-0. During his entire career at BW, Albert remained undefeated in dual matches. As a freshman, he was the OAC Most Valuable Wrestler at the OAC Tournament. Albert was also a two-time OAC champion at 190 lbs. After earning eight varsity letters, he was named the Baldwin-Wallace Outstanding Senior Male Athlete.

Following graduation from B-W, Albert continued his study in real estate law and appraisal. Today, he is the owner of the Mike Albert Realtors and Auctioneers firm. Albert and his wife, Wendy, have three children and live in Columbus.
