Rosinski Named Assistant Baseball Coach

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University head baseball coach Brian Harrison is glad to announce the addition of Matt Rosinski as assistant coach to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2023 season.

"I am excited to welcome Matt to BW and the baseball family," said Harrison. "He brings extensive knowledge not only as a high school and club coach but as a Division I player. Matt's passion and work ethic will help propel our program to even further success on and off the field."

Rosinski joins the BW staff after spending the past seven seasons as head varsity baseball coach at St. Edward High School. At St. Edward he managed the varsity team to consistently be ranked within the top 25 in the state and several top 10 rankings. He also assisted in coordinating the junior varsity and freshmen level teams. Rosinski also coordinated fundraising opportunities for the annual spring break trip, top facility rentals and upgrades and the creating of the St. Edward Baseball Lab.

"I am thrilled to be joining an elite NCAA Division III program like the one here at Baldwin Wallace," stated Rosinski. "I want to thank Coach Harrison for offering me the chance to take my coaching abilities to the next level. I can't wait to continue growing the program and working with the talented student-athletes."

Rosinski also is the founder and owner of Release Baseball LLC. He solely established the amateur club to develop players to play at the collegiate level. He built up the program through marketing and promotional strategies. He also ran video analysis, pitching programming and development and running camps and showcases.

Prior to joining the St. Edward baseball, he was the head junior varsity coach at St. Ignatius from 2014-2015. He also was the program pitching coordinator in 2014 where he led the pitching staff to a 1.74 earned runs average.

In addition to being a baseball coach, Rosinski is also a data analyst at HDT Global.

Rosinski graduated from NCAA Division I Miami University of Ohio with a double major in accounting and finance. He also spent four years on the baseball team, where he was named 2012 Miami University Student-Athlete of the Year. In his four years he made 104 appearances as a relief pitcher with a 5-5 record. He recorded 12 saves in 136.1 innings pitched with a 4.09 career era and 95 strikeouts.
