Minneapolis, Minn. – Baldwin Wallace University baseball senior outfielder Andrew Parker (Toledo/Toledo Central Catholic) has been selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for games played February 27 through March 5, 2023.

Parker earns his first career team of the week honor after a scorching start to the Snowbird Classic in Port Charlotte, Fla. He opened the weekend going 5-11 with every hit being an extra base hit. He tallied four home runs and a double to go with 10 runs batted-in (RBIs) and six runs scored. Parker was second on the team with a .455 batting average but led with an impressive 1.636 slugging percentage. In the field, he posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

On the season, Parker has appeared in and started nine games.  He is third on the team with a .379 batting average. Parker leads the Ohio Athletic Conference leading and is tied for 10th in Division III with five home runs. He is third in the OAC with a team leading 13 RBIs and leads the team with 13 runs scored. Parker also leads the team and is second in the OAC with a .875 slugging percentage.

In his career, Parker has played in 60 games and has a .285 batting average. He has tallied 39 hits in 137 at-bats. Parker has scored 40 runs and driven in 26 runs while hitting eight doubles and eight home runs. On the basepaths, he is a perfect 6-of-6 in stolen bases. He also posts a .409 on base percentage and a .514 slugging percentage.

BW returns to action on Wednesday, March 8 when the team takes on Swarthmore (Pa.) College in the Snowbird Classic at Centennial Park on Field #10 at 2:00 p.m.
