TIFFIN, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Tiffin Track Carnival amongst other NCAA division one, two, and three schools in Hoernemann Stadium inside the Paradiso Athletic Complex. 

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Sophomore All-OAC Abby Collier (Dublin / Coffman) placed sixth in the 400-meter run in a time of 58.24
• Freshman Katie Plecko (Rootstown) placed fourth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:21.49
• Sophomore Jensen Wolfe (Somerset / Sheridan) placed eighth in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 42:11.13
• Freshman Megan Hughes (Oregon/ Clay) finished 15th in the 1500-meter run in a time of 5:12.79
• Senior Maddie Miller (Medina) placed 10th in the 3000-meter steeplechase in a time of 12:17.56

Field events highlighted: (shotput and javelin results will be added once results are updated)

• Senior All-OAC Brooke Buckhannon (Collins / Western Reserve) placed fifth in the discus throw with a mark of 131' 8"
• Sophomore Emily Randall (Mount Gilead) finished 25th in the long jump with a height of 4' 6¾" and 34th in long jump with a mark of 13' 0"
• Sophomore Emily Torres (Berea / Berea-Midpark) finished 16th in hammer throw with a mark of 130' 3"

On the relay side:

•  The 4x100 relay squad of freshman Julia Hurd (Avon Lake), freshman Morgan Aloi (Sylvania / Sylvania Northview), freshman Olivia Bradley (Hilliard / Hilliard Davidson), and Collier placed seventh in a time of 51.02 seconds. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Saturday, April 22 when they host the 53rd Annual Sparky Adams Invitational inside George Finnie Stadium.
