Russo and Murphy Compete at the Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior All-American distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) and senior David Russo (DePew, N.Y.) of the Baldwin Wallace men's and women's track and field team competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell University. 

The meet consisted of other division one, two and three schools. 

  • Murphy competed in the women's 1500-meter run and placed for 85th in a time of 4:52.05. She also competed in the 800-meter run. She finished in 25th place in a time of 2:14.71.
  • Russo competed in the men's 10,000-meter run. He placed for 17th in a time of 31:44.84

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Saturday, April 22 when they host the 53rd Annual Sparky Adams Invitational inside George Finnie Stadium.
