Men's and Women’s Swimming and Diving Team Named Fall Scholar All-America Team

RICHMOND, Va. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named as fall scholar All-America Teams. The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected 803 teams from 479 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2022 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2022 team grade point averages and represent 19,426 student-athletes. 

Veteran Head Swimming and Diving Coach Laura Demaline combined a GPA of 3.41 with 19 members of the women's team as participants and 23 on the men's side with a combined GPA of 3.38.

Last year, the women's swimming and diving team were the lone selection with a combined a GPA of 3.34 with 18 members of the women's team as participants.

Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2022 team grade point averages and represent 19,426 student-athletes. Teams that have a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifies them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action at the four-day Ohio Athletic Conference Championships on Wednesday-Saturday, February 15-18 at the Ocasek Natatorium on the campus of the University of Akron. Preliminary action begins each day at 10 a.m. with finals to be held each night at 6 p.m.
