Track and Field Runs Out 2022-23 Indoor and Outdoor Schedules

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Coordinator of Cross County and Track and Field Joe Eby is pleased to announce the 2022-23 indoor and outdoor schedules.

BW, who has its lone competition in 2022, opens the indoor season when it travels to Cleveland on December 3 to compete in the Spartan Holiday Classic hosted by Case Western Reserve University.

As the calendar flips to 2023, the Yellow Jackets remain on the road as they travel to Westerville on January 21 to compete in the Otterbein University Invitational.  BW closes out the month of January as it hosts its first of three meets with the annual Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge on January 28.

The Yellow Jackets open February on February 4 when it travels to Angola, Indiana for the Dick Gollnick Invitational hosted by Trine University.  On February 10, BW hosts the annual Mid-February Meet.  The indoor regular season ends on February 17 when the Yellow Jackets travel to Cleveland to compete in the Ed Finnegan Greater Cleveland Colleges Invitational hosted by Case Western Reserve.

The final indoor meets consist of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by BW on February 24 and 25, the Polar Bear Qualifier hosted by Ohio Northern University, the Tufts (Mass.) University National Qualifying Meet on March 4 and the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on March 10 and 11 hosted by Birmingham-Southern (Ala). University.

The outdoor season begins on March 18 when the Yellow Jackets travel to Terra Haute, Indiana to compete in the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Early Bird Invitational.  BW closes out March as it travels to New Concord to compete in the Amy Adams Invitational hosted by Muskingum University.

April, which is the busiest month of the outdoor season, features six road meets and one home.  The Yellow Jackets open the month as they travel to nearby Oberlin on April 1 to compete in the Oberlin College Spring Invitational.  BW then heads to Delaware on April 8 to compete in the Marv Frye Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.   On April 14 and 15, the Yellow Jackets travel to Tiffin to compete in Triffin Track Carnival hosted by Heidelberg University.  BW hosts the 53rd Annual Sparky Adams Invitational on April 22 inside the George Finnie Stadium.   BW closes out April as it competes in the Walsh University Tune-Up on April 27 and the Ashland University Alumni Open on April 28 and 29.

The final month of the outdoor seasons consists of the OAC Outdoor Championships hosted by the University of Mount Union on May 4 and 5, the Harrison Dillard Twilight on May 12 and the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships hosted by St. John Fisher (N.Y.) University on May 25, 26 and 27.
