BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace men's and women's outdoor track and field team compete at NCAA "Last Chance" meets, the Mount Union Last Chance Meet inside Mount Union Stadium and Augustana Midwest Twilight inside Austin E. Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex.
The Yellow Jackets events highlights at Mount Union Last Chance Meet included:
- Sophomore All-OAC thrower Thomas Hickman (Oxford / Talawanda) placed fifth in the men's discus throw with a mark of 151' 10"
- Junior Joe Barnes (West Plains, Mo.) finished fifth in the men's javelin throw with a mark of 157' 6"
- Freshman All-OAC selection Katie Plecko (Rootstown) placed fourth in 800-meter run with a personal best time of 2:17.81
The Yellow Jackets events highlights at Augustana Midwest Twilight Meet included:
- Senior All-OAC hurdler ShaDaryll Clark II (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) placed sixth in the men's 110-meter hurdles in a time of 14.76 seconds.
- Sophomore All-OAC runner Abby Collier (Dublin / Coffman) finished sixth in the women's 400-meter run in a time of 56.61 seconds.
The Yellow Jackets will now wait and see which athletes qualify to the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 25-27 at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex in Rochester, NY
