Murphy Concludes Her Season at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

RODCHESTER, N.Y. - Junior All-American distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) of Baldwin Wallace women's track and field team concluded her season at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by St. John Fisher University at Polisseni Track and Field Complex.

Murphy competed in the 1500-meter prelims, where she came into event being ranked sixth. She placed 13th in the event with a time of 4:30.99, one spot short to qualify for the finals.

Last year, Murphy earned All-American honors in the 1,500-meter run placing third at the 2022 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Day two of the NCAA Championships for the Yellow Jackets continues tomorrow May 26, as sophomore All-OAC sprinter Abby Collier (Dublin/Coffman) competes in the 400-meter run prelims at 5:45 pm EST.
