Collier Closes Out NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Debut

ROCHETSER, N.Y. - Sophomore All-OAC sprinter Abby Collier (Dublin/Coffman) of the Baldwin Wallace Women's Track and Field team concluded her first career peformance at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by St. John Fisher University at Polisseni Track and Field Complex. 

Collier competed in the 400-meter prelims, making her the first sprinter in seven-years to compete at the national meet. She placed 20th in the event with a time of 57.82 seconds, falling short for a qualifying spot to the finals. 

The final day of the NCAA Championships for the Yellow Jackets continues tomorrow May 27, as senior All-American thrower Brooke Buckhannon (Collins/Western Reserve) competes in hammer throw and junior Ohio Athletic Conference Champion jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) in high jump both starting at 10 a.m. EST
