Women's Outdoor Track and Field Compete at Ashland Alumni Open to Close Out Regular Season

ASHLAND, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Ashland University Alumni Open inside Dwight Schar Athletic Complex. The meet was unscored. 

The Yellow Jackets individual Field event highlights included:

  • Junior Selena Shelley (Mentor) placed 21st in the hammer throw with a mark of 128' 9"
  • Sophomore Emily Torres (Berea / Berea-Midpark) finished fifth in shot put with a distance of 37' 9.25"
  • Sophomore Lilly Johns (Garrestville / James A. Garfield) placed 13th in the discus throw with a mark of 114' 11"

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Thursday, May 4th when they travel to Mount Union to compete in the two-day OAC Outdoor Championships.
