BOSTON, Mass – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Zak Dysert (McDonald, Pa./Fort Cherry) placed 17th in the weight throw at the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Dysert hit a mark of 58 feet, 11.5 inches to place 17th in his second trip to the national meet. He had a career-best and school-record mark of 63'9" at the 2019 All-Ohio Indoor Championships, which was the seventh-longest mark in Division III this season and earned him a repeat trip to the national meet.

This season, Dysert defended his weight throw title at the OAC Indoor Championships, won the event at five separate meets and also earned his second career United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Great Lakes Region accolade in the weight throw.

Dysert and the rest of the Yellow Jackets will begin the outdoor season on Saturday, March 16, at the Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Early Bird at the William Welch Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana.
