Eby, Hill Announce 2019 Track and Field Schedule

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Coordinator of Cross Country and Track & Field Joe Eby and head track and field coach Jordan Hill '09 are proud to announce the 2019 schedule.

The 2019 indoor season begins with a trip down to Westerville on Saturday, Jan. 19, to compete in the Dave Lehman Open, hosted by fellow Ohio Athletic Conference institution Otterbein University inside the Clements Recreation Center.

BW then returns home on Saturday, Jan. 26, to host the Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse. One other home meet highlights the indoor schedule as the Yellow Jackets host the Mid-February Open on Friday, Feb. 8.

In addition, BW travels to Michigan for the Hillsdale "Wide Track" Open on Feb. 2-3, back to Westerville for the All-Ohio Indoor Championships on Feb. 9 and also to Alliance on Feb. 16 for the Raider Tune Up, hosted by the University of Mount Union.

Ohio Northern University will host the OAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 22-23 inside the ONU Sports Center while the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will host an NCAA Last Chance meet on March 2. 

The indoor season finishes with the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston, Massachusetts, at the Reggie Lewis Center on March 8-9.

Outdoor track and field begins just one week later on Saturday, March 16, when the Yellow Jackets head to Terre Haute, Indiana, to compete in the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational.

BW will make additional trips to the Amy Adams Invitational on March 23, the Centre (Ky.) Invitational on March 30, the John Homon Open on April 6 and the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships on April 13.

The 50th-annual Sparky Adams Invitational will take place inside George Finnie Stadium on Saturday, April 20, while the Yellow Jackets will also host the Harrison Dillard Twilight on Friday, May 10.

Otterbein will host the OAC Outdoor Championships on April 26-27 inside Memorial Stadium.

The 2019 track and field season wraps up with the NCAA Outdoor Championships May 23-25 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
