Dysert Captures Weekly OAC Men's Field Athlete Award

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Zak Dysert (McDonald, Pa./Fort Cherry) garners the OAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week award.

Dysert receives the honor for the second consecutive week and the sixth time in his career.

Dysert had yet another record-breaking performance as he won the hammer throw at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships with a career-best, All-Ohio meet-record and school-record mark of 210 feet, 8 inches. The senior broke his own school record, which was set last week, by over 5 feet and defeated the All-Ohio runner-up by almost 22 feet. Dysert's mark leads all of NCAA Division III this season and is the 10th-best toss in the DIII history of the event. Additionally, he had career-best tosses of 156'1" and 47'6.5" to place second in the discus and eighth in the shot put, respectively.

BW will host its first outdoor meet on Saturday, April 20, for the 50th Sparky Adams Invitational, beginning at 10:30 a.m. inside George Finnie Stadium.
