Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Hosts Harrison Dillard Twilight

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field teams hosted the unscored Harrison Dillard Twilight inside George Finnie Stadium for its final home meet of the season.

In the field, senior All-OAC thrower Zak Dysert (McDonald, Pa./Fort Cherry) continued his dominance in the hammer throw as he won the event for the seventh straight meet. The senior out-tossed the competition with a mark of 206 feet, 8 inches, besting the runner-up from NCAA Division II Ashland University by over 20 feet. Dysert also hit a career-best 158'9" to finish fourth in the discus throw.

Sophomore distance runner Spencer Roberts (Buffalo, N.Y./West Seneca West) captured BW's other event win as he broke the tape in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 9:44.11. Freshman distance runner Joe Juda (Strongsville) also had a career race in the 1,500-meter run as he placed fifth in 4:06.36.

Freshman distance runner David Prather (Hardin, Mont.) posted times of 1:59.94 and 4:21.25 to finish 11th and seventh in the 800-meter and 1,500-meter runs, respectively. In the final race of the night, three Yellow Jackets finished right behind the other with career-best times in the 5,000-meter run. Senior distance runner Spencer Mahon (North Royalton) led the crew with a ninth-place finish in 15:29.81, junior Academic All-OAC distance runner Isaac Wilson (Tylersburg, Pa./North Clarion) placed 10th in 15:31.00 and sophomore distance runner Andrew Krupp (Ottawa Hills) was 11th in 15:33.50.

Select members of the BW track and field teams will compete at a two-day NCAA Last Chance meet, hosted by North Central (Ill.) College Wednesday and Thursday, May 15-16 at the Benedetti-Wherli Stadium in Naperville, Illinois.
