ACADEMIC MAJOR: Exercise Science

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a senior in 2013-2014, Michael played in his fourth season of football at Baldwin Wallace University and earned his third varsity letter.  He was one of the five BW team captains.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: BW has recorded a 28-12 record during Mitchell's three seasons in the Brown & Gold. He earned his third varsity letter as a senior. For his career, Michael has recorded 120 career tackles, including 56 solo, and two pass deflections.

As a freshman in 2010, Michael  played in his first season of football and saw playing time on the junior varsity squad as a linebacker. For his efforts, Michael earned a certificate of participation.       
        
As a sophomore in 2011, Michael competed in his second season of football and eanred his first varsity letter.  Michael played in all 10 games, making 17 tackles, including nine unassisted. He also recorded one pass deflection. Michael helped the Yellow Jackets finish with an overall record of 8-2.

As a junior in 2012, Michael played his third season of football and earned his second varsity letter. Michael played in nine games, making a team-high 72 tackles, including 39 unassisted. He also recorded one sack, six tackles for loss and one forced fumble. Michael helped the Yellow Jackets finish with an overall record of 7-3.

As a senior in 2013-14, Michael played in 10 games and recorded 31 total tackles while earning his third varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Michael Stacchiotti grew up in Girard, Ohio and graduated from Girard High School. Michael played four years of football and earned four varsity letters.  

In football as a senior, Michael was named to the All-American Conference team, the All-Northeast Ohio team, and the All-Ohio team. He was the County Defensive Co-Captain and a McDonald's McScholar Athlete. Michael was also awarded the Denny's Player-of-the-Game (week five vs. Niles), and he was a Trumbull County Player-of-the-Year nominee.
