BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Matt Harmon played four seasons of football at Baldwin Wallace University (2010-2013) and earned three varsity letters.

He was one of the top punters in Division III in 2013 when he ranked eighth in the nation with a 41.6-yard average and FIRST with a 39.5-yard net average. He earned first-team Division III All-America honors by the AFCA (American Football Coaches Association), second-team Division III All-America and first-team All-North Region honors by the D3football.com web site and first-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. Matt also was named as the A.B. Bonds Outstanding Special Teams Player at the team's season-ending banquet.

OAC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Three times during his Yellow Jacket career, Matt earned OAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors:  as a sophomore in a 20-6 Homecoming Game victory against Ohio Northern University on October 15, 2011;  As a junior versus ONU on Oct. 6, 2012; and as a senior in a 23-13 win versus Muskingum University on September 28, 2013. 

NATIONAL CHAMPION:  Matt's 39.5-yard net average as a senior led all of NCAA Division III.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:    Matt Harmon played four years of football and earned three varsity letters. As a senior, he ended his career as one of the best punters in Division III. Matt played on the junior varsity team as a freshman and punted on the varsity for 30 consecutive games, beginning with his sophomore season. BW was 28-12 overall during his four seasons of football and 21-9 the three years he was a starter. He punted 138 times for a 39.48-yard average with a long punt of 72 yards and 56-of-his-138 punts landed inside the opposition's 20-yard line. For three straight years, he was among the OAC leaders in net punting average, including having a Division III-best 39.5-yard net average as a senior. His 41.6-yard average as a senior ranked eighth in Division III.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Matt played in his first season of football as a punter.  He saw action on the junior varsity team, dressed for varsity games and was the varsity backup punter. He earned a certificate of participation for his efforts. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Matt played in his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter.  He was the starting punter and averaged 38.0 yards per punt in 50 attempts, including a long punt of 51 yards.  Matt earned Ohio Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors for averaging a career-best 47.2 yards in four attempts in a 20-6 Homecoming Game victory against Ohio Northern University on October 15, 2011. BW finished 8-2 overall and ended the season ranked No.24 in the final AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) Division III national poll.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Matt played in his third season of football and was the starting punter. He was named as the OAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance versus ONU on October 6. He averaged 36.9 yards per punt in 43 attempts with a career-long 72-yarder and 13 that landed inside the opposition's 20-yard line. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Matt played his fourth season of football and earned his third letter. He had his best season as a collegian and led the OAC and was eighth in Division III with a 41.6-yard average in 45 attempts, including 22 that landed inside the opposition's 20-yard line.  His 39.5-yard net average also led all of Division III.  He was the OAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in a 23-13 win versus Muskingum Uviversity on September 28, 2013. Matt was a first-team Division III All-American by the AFCA (American Football Coaches Association), a second-team Division III All-American and first-team All-North Region choice by the D3football.com website and as a first-team All-OAC selection. Matt also was named as the A.B. Bonds Outstanding Special Teams Player at the team's season-ending banquet. BW finished 6-4 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Matt Harmon grew up in Canfield, Ohio and graduated from Canfield High School. Matt played two years of basketball and one year of both football and baseball.
