ACADEMIC MAJOR: Political Science

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Richie Massaro played four years of football at Baldwin Wallace University and earned one varsity letter.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: Rich played four years of football and earned one varsity letter. He helped the Yellow Jackets to compile a 28-12 record with a .700 winning percentage. He played his first two seasons on the junior varsity team, split time between the varsity and JV teams as a junior and was a member of the varsity as a senior despite a season-ending injury. 

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Richie played his first season of football and saw playing time on the junior varsity offensive line. He earned his first Certificate of Participation. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Richie competed in his second season of football and saw playing time on the junior varsity offensive line. For his efforts he earned his second certificate of participation. BW finished 8-2 overall and was ranked 24th in the final AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) Division III national poll.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Richie played his third season of football and received his third certificate of participation. He saw playing time on the varsity offensive line for two games and contributed on the special teams for both point-after-touchdown (PAT) kicks and field goal attempts. He helped BW to finish 7-3 overall.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Richie played his fourth season of football and earned his first varsity letter. He was an offensive lineman who was injured and lost for the season.  BW finished 6-4 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Richie Massaro grew up in Williamsville, New York and graduated from Williamsville East High School. Richard played four years of football and earned two varsity letters.

In football as a senior, Richard was second team All-League for Class A and was a Western New York "Trench Trophy" nominee.
