BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a junior in 2013-2014, Luke Riemenschneider played his third season of football at Baldwin Wallace University and earned his second varsity letter. The 2013 All-Ohio Athletic Conference defensive end also was named as BW's Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman.

ATHLETIC HONORS:   As a junior in football in 2013-2014, Luke earned second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. He was the OAC Defensive Player of the Week on October 12, 2013 for his efforts in a 38-17 Homecoming win versus Ohio Northern University. At the season-ending team banquet, Luke was named as the Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2011-2012, Luke competed in his first season of football and appeared in three varsity games at defensive end.  He saw the majority of his playing time on the junior varsity defensive line. For his efforts, he earned his first certificate of participation. BW finished 8-2 overall and was ranked 24th in the final AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) Division III national poll.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Luke played his second season football and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in all 10 games at defensive end and split time. Luke had 25 total tackles, including three for loss and one quarterback sack. He also forced one fumble. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Luke played his third season of football, started and earned his second letter. He finished fourth on the team with 63 total tackles, including a team-leading 11.5 for loss and 5.5 QB sacks. He also deflected one pass, forced five QB hurries and recovered a fumble. He was the OAC Defensive Player of the Week on October 12, 2013 for his efforts in a 38-17 Homecoming win versus Ohio Northern University. Luke earned second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors and was BW"s Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman award winner.  BW finished 6-4 overall.

As a Senior in 2014-2015, Luke will look to earn his third varsity letter at the defensive end position.

GENERAL LACROSSE INFORMATION:    As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Luke completed his first season of lacrosse and earned his first varsity letter.  Luke was the only midfielder to start all 11 games, took a school single-season recrd 117 shots and had a single-season record 24 goals, including a goal in 10 of 11 games. He also tallied four assists for 28 points to rank second on the team. He scored multiple goals in nine games, including a career-high four in a 21-12 win against Houghton (N.Y.) College on March 8. BW finished 6-5 in its inaugural season of varsity lacrose.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Luke is expected to play his second season of lacrosse.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Luke Riemenschneider grew up in Rocky River, Ohio and graduated from Rocky River High School.  He played four seasons of football and earned two varsity letters, four seasons of hockey and earned two letters, and four seasons of lacrosse and earned four letters.

As a junior in 2009-2010, Luke was a second-team All-West Shore Conference pick in football.  As a senior in 2010-11, Luke garnered first-team All-WSC mention in football and all-region honorable mention in lacrosse.

THE RIEMENSCHNEIDER FAMILY CONNECTION:  Luke is a member of one of BW's most revered family's.  His father, Dirk '88, was an All-American offensive tackle and his uncle Chris '87, was an All-American defensive end.  His great grandfather started the Reiemenschneider-Bach Institute of Music at BW, which is renown around the world as one of the best and has the foremost holdings of Bach in the Western Hemisphere.  His gradfather, Walter '54 was an extremely successful attorney who owned his own practice.
