SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Sammy competed in his second season of football. He will be competing in his second season of track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy competed in his first season of football and competed for playing time at the safety position. He earned a Certificate of Participation for his efforts.
    As a sophmore in 2013-2014, Sammy competed in his second season of football. He sustained an injury during the season, which cut his season short. BW finished 6-4 overall.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy competed in his first season of indoor track and field. He recorded BW's longest jump of the season with a distance of 19'4" when he placed 16th at the 2013 Mid-February Meet. Sammy ran in the 55-meter dash and had a season-best time of 7.18 seconds at the 2013 Greater Cleveland College Championship.
    As a sophomore in 2013-14, Sammy will compete in his second of track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy competed in his first season of outdoor track and field. He held the team's farthest distance in the long jump during the season with his mark of 21'3.5" at the University of Toledo Invitational where he finished in fourth place. Sammy competed in the 100-meter dash and recorded a season-best time of 11.94 seconds at the Marv Frye Invitational 2013. He also ran the 200-meter dash and finished with season-best time at the 2013 Sparky Adams Invitational with a mark of 25.35 seconds.
    As a sophomore in 2013-14, Sammy will compete in his second season of track and field and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Sam Ibrahim grew up in North Olmsted, Ohio and graduated from North Olmsted High School. Sam was a two year varsity letter-winner in football and a three year letter-winner in track and field.  

In his junior year, Sam was a first-team All-Conference selection and a district and regional qualifier in the 4x100 meter relay, and a second-team All-Conference and district qualifier in the 4x200 meter relay.  In his senior year, Sam was first-team All-Conference in the 4x100 meter relay and first-team All-Conference, and district and regional qualifier, in the 4x200 meter relay.  He was first-team All-Conference and a district qualifier for the long jump his senior year. Sam also set a school record in the sprint medly (1:36:04).
