BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Jerry Scholle played his first season of football at Baldwin Wallace University and earned his first varsity letter. This spring (2014), he will look to earn his second letter in baseball.  Jerry is one of BW's top all-around student-athletes.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Jerry did not play football.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Jerry played his first season of football and earned his first football letter. He began the season as a quarterback and then switched to defense where he ended the season splitting the starting duties at safety. He had a career-high 11 tackles and two interceptions in a 31-7 win at Marietta College on November 2. Overall, Jerry had 22 total tackles, two interceptions and four total pass breakups. BW finished 6-4 overall.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Jerry will play his second season of football and hopes to earn his second letter. He will be a key returning member of the secondary.

BASEBALL GENERAL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Jerry played his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He was utilized in the outfield and as a designated hitter. Jerry had a .282 batting average (11-for-39) with nine runs scored, two doubles, six runs batted-in (RBI) and stole three bases in four attempts. BW finished 27-13 overall and tied the single-season school-record for victories.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Jerry will play his second season of baseball and hopes to earn his second letter. He will battle for playing time in the infield, outfield and at DH.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Jerry Scholle grew up in Medina, Ohio and graduated from Medina High School. Jerry competed in baseball for four years and earned four varsity letters. He played four years of football and earned three letters. He also played basketball for two years and earned one letter.

As a senior in 2011-2012, Jerry was All-Ohio in football and All-Conference in baseball.
