BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Jason Cook played four seasons of football at Baldwin Wallace University (2010-2013) and earned four varsity letters. He started 37 conseutive games, was one of five teams captains in 2013

As a senior in 2013, Jason was named as a third-team Division III All-American and first-team All-North Region choice by the D3football.com website (www.d3football.com). He also earned first-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. Jason was the two-time winner of the Dick Van Almen Most Outstanding Lineman Award.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  Jason Cook played four seasons of football and earned four varsity letters. He moved into the starting lineup as a freshman and started 37 consecutive games. He also served as a team captain as a senior. Jason helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 28-12 record during his four seasons for a .700 winning percentage.

With Jason at right guard, BW averaged nearly 30 points and 370 yards of total offense per game. Individually as a senior (2013), Jason was a team captain, earned third-team Division III All-American and first-team All-North Region honors by the D3football.com website. He also was a first-team All-OAC pick and earned second-team All-OAC accolades as a junior (2012).

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Jason played his first year of football and earned his first varsity letter. He started all 10 games and helped BW to average 28.4 points and 314 yards of total offense per game. BW finished 7-3 overall.  

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Jason played his second season of football and earned his second varsity letter. He played in all 10 games and started at right guard and helped BW to average 30.2 points and 370.1 yards of total offense per game. . BW finished 8-2 overall and was ranked No. 24 in Division III in the final AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) NCAA Division III poll.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Jason played his third season of football and earned his third varsity letter. He started at guard for the third straight season. He helped BW to average 32.1 points and more than 370 yards of total offense per game. Jason earned second-team All-OAC honors. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Jason played his fourth year of football and earned his fourth letter. He played in seven games and ended his consecutive streak of starts at 37 when he was injured versus Capital University. He was one of five team captains and one of the top returning linemen in Division III. Jason helped BW to average 26.1 points and 352.4 yards of total offense per game. Individually, he earned third-team Division III All-American and first-team All-North Region honors by the D3football.com website and first-team All-OAC honors. BW finished 6-4 overall.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Jason grew up in Streetsboro, Ohio and attended Streetsboro High School. He played football for four years and earned three varsity letters. Jason also wrestled for two seasons and earned two letters. He also participated in one season of track and field and earned a letter.

In football as a sophomore, Jason was named Streetsboro H.S. Offensive Rookie-of-the-Year. As a junior, he was named as the SHS Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman and was a first-team All-Portage Trail Conference and All-County performer. As a senior, Jason was voted as his team's Most Valuable Player and was selected as a Touchdown All-Star.

In wrestling as a sophomore and junior, he was a first-team All-Conference performer in the 285-pound weight class. As a senior, Jason was named Team Captain, was a Conference Tournament Champion and placed eighth at the Top Gun Tournament. In 2009, Jason was named as an Outstanding Wrestler. He also was the PTC Scholar-Athlete.

Academically, Jason was named Outstanding 10th Grade Achievement in History. In 2010, he won the Ronald Taggart Award.
