ACADEMIC MAJOR:

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Jon Gannon played four seasons of football at Baldwin Wallace University (2010-2013). As a senior, Jon saw playing time at defensive tackle.

ACADEMIC HONORS: As a sophomore in 2011-2012 and a junior in 2012-2013, Jon was named a B-W Jacket Scholar. He is also a member of the Dean's List with a 3.528 grade point average.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION

Jon had a solid career. BW recorded a record of 28-12 during his four years in the Brown & Gold.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Jon played in his first season of football for B-W and saw playing time on the junior varsity squad.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Jon competed in his second season of football for the Yellow Jackets. Jon appeared in one varsity game and earned his second certificate of participation.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Jon played in his third season of football and saw split time on both the varsity and junior varsity teams. He appeared in three varsity games and assisted on two tackles. For his efforts, Jon received a certificate of participation.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Jon played in his fourth season of football for the Yellow Jackets and saw time at defensive tackle in two games. Jon received a certificate of participation for his efforts. 

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Jon Gannon grew up in Highland Heights, Ohio and graduated from Mayfield High School. He played four years of football and earned two varsity letters. Jon also ran three years of track and earned three varsity letters.

In football as a senior, Jon received first-team All-Northeast Ohio honors and second-team All-District honors for his great play on the field.

Academically, Jon was a Academic All-American and a Mayfield scholar athlete.
