BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a junior in 2013, Javon played in his second season of football at Baldwin Wallace University and earned his first varsity letter.
GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2011, Javon competed in his first season of football for the Yellow Jackets and saw playing time on the junior varsity team at the wide receiver position.
As a sophomore in 2012, Javon did not participate in football.
As a junior in 2013, Javon played in his second season of football and saw playing time at the wide receiver postion at the varsity level. He recorded 11 receptions for 161 yards and one touch down, for his efforts he received his first varsity letter. BW finished 6-4 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Javon Burks grew up in Naples, Florida and graduated from Golden Gate High School. Javon competed in four years of football and earned two varsity letters. He ran two years of track and earned one varsity letter. Javon also played one year of baseball and earned a varsity letter.
In football as a senior, Javon was named as an All-Collier County Athletic Conference and All-District performer. In track as a junior, he received All-CCAC honors.
