DELAWARE, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team placed third today (Saturday, April 16, 2011) at the Annual All-Ohio Division III Championship Meet at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.  This is the fifth overall and third scored team meet of the outdoor season.

The Yellow Jackets totalled 81 points and placed third of 19 schools. BW trailed first place and host OWU by 14 points. Despite breaking a streak of seven straight scored meet titles, the BW women are now 33-2 this spring and 78-2 overall.

Senior 3-time Division III All-American Kim Chinn (Zanesville/ West Muskingum) won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in an NCAA Division III national meet provisional qualifying time of 10:49.17 and placed third in the 800-meter run with a season's-best time of 2:19.95. She is already automatically qualified in the steeplechase. Sophomore Kaylan Lemon (Canton/ Massillon Perry) placed second in both the 100-meter dash in 13.05 seconds and 200 dash in 26.57 seconds. Also placing in the top three was sophomore Cristina Perrine (Middleburg Heights/ Midpark), who was third in the shot put with a throw of 37'3".

The Yellow Jackets are back in action next Saturday, April 23 when they host the Annual Paul "Sparky" Adams Invitational Meet in The George Finnie Stadium in Berea.
