BEREA, OHIO --  Senior three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference and two-time Academic All-OAC women's tennis standout Rebecca Mittler (Elyria/Elyria Catholic) has been selected as Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week.

Mittler, who earns her first career OAC weekly honor, had a 4-0 record and became the 10th Yellow Jacket female to surpass 100 career victories as BW split a pair of OAC matches. Mittler won both her singles matches against opponents from Muskingum University and the University of Mount Union and combined with freshman Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) to win both of their doubles matches.

The women's tennis team is back in action on Tuesday, April 9 when it hosts Capital University in an OAC match at the Pop Collins Tennis Courts at 3:30 p.m.
