With the win, BW improves to 9-9 overall and Wooster falls to 8-11.

The Yellow Jackets took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as the No. 2 tandem of junior Morgan Baker (Vermilion/ Elyria Catholic ) and freshman Mackenzi Baker (Vermilion/Elyria Catholic) defeated  Lauren Gilliss and Kimberly Carter by a final score of 8-4 and the No. 3 tandem of junior Whitney Yoder (Medina) and freshman Mackenzie Donalson (Hilliard/Davidson) beat Rachel Dietz and junior Rachel Appleton, 8-4.

In singles play, No. 1 player senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Rebecca Mittler (Elyria/Elyria Catholic), who is this weeks OAC Women's Tennis Player-of-the-Week, defeated Catherine Christian by scores of  6-2 and 6-3 to improve to 12-9 on the season. She now has 55 career wins and moves into eighth place all-time. 

At No. 2 singles, freshman Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) beat Rose Chiumento, 6-2 and 6-4. Morgan Baker defeated Chin 7-5, 4-6, 1-0  and 10-6 in the tiebreaker at number three singles and senior Danielle Rueger (Ashland) defeated Carter by scores of 6-0 and 6-1 at fifth singles.

The Yellow Jackets end their season this week with three OAC homes matches at the "Pop" Collins Courts against cross-town rival John Carroll University (Tuesday, April 23), Otterbein University (Friday, April 26) and Marietta College (Saturday, April 27) for Seniors' and Parents' Day. The matches with John Carroll and Otterbein begin at 3:30 p.m. and the Marietta match at 1:00 p.m.
