BW Women's Tennis Competes at ITA Championships

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI --   The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team competed on the second day of the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Central Regional Tournament hosted by Washington University.

In singles action, senior Rebecca Mittler (Elyria/Elyria Catholic) was defeated by Depauw University's Meg Crowley 6-0, 6-3. Freshman Mackenzie Donalson (Hillard/Davidson) was defeated by Kenyon College's Taylor Diffley 6-1, 6-1. Junior Morgan Baker (Vermillion/Elyria Catholic) was defeated by Ohio Northern University's Kistin Cellentani 6-0, 6-3.

In doubles action, Mittler and freshman Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) lost to Ohio Northern's Christie Gales and Michelle Tuma 8-3.

After the completion of the ITA Championships, the Yellow Jackets will have completed their fall portion of the schedule and will resume action on February 9 when they travel to nearby Oberlin for a non-conference match with Oberlin College at 9:00 a.m.
