BEREA, OHIO -- Senior Rebecca Mittler (Elyria/Elyria Catholic) and freshman Kelsey Blatt (Tallmadge) have been selected as All-Ohio Athletic Conference players.  Mittler was selected as first-team and Blatt earned second-team.

Mittler earns her fourth All-OAC accolade and second first-team nod.  She was named honorable mention a year ago and was a second-team selection as a freshman.  This season, Mittler had a record of 14-10 at first singles and teamed with Blatt for a mark of 13-13 at first doubles.

Mittler ends her career  with an overall record of 57-44 in singles action and 60-48 in doubles.  Her 57 career singles victories ranks eighth all-time in BW history and the 60 doubles wins also ranks eighth all-time.  Mittler's combined 117 victories lands her seventh all-time.

Blatt posted a record of 14-11, including a 5-3 mark against OAC opponents, in her inaugural season.  She and Mittler teamed up at first doubles to post a perfect 8-0 mark in the OAC.

The Yellow Jackets finished the 2013 campaign with a record of 11-10 overall record.  Four of the past seven years, the BW women have won the OAC title and advanced to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.  Veteran Head Coach Jack Bethlenfalvy is the winningest women's tennis coach in both OAC and Ohio collegiate history and has a 345-233 career mark after 29 seasons.
